The Independence Day of Ukraine
On Saturday, August 24th, the Ukrainian Village Committee held its annual Ukrainian Independence Day Parade in Parma’s Ukrainian Village. USA with Ukraine joined to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of Ukrainian Independence! The parade procession ended at the St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral Festival. The parade was a show of antique cars, marching bands, Ghostbusters and the 501st Legion - Ohio Garrison outfitted in Ukrainian armor. All and more were there. Amazing food and hospitality! Never a disappointing event!
